About Mother Tucker's Toffee

The story of Mother Tucker’s Toffee began more than 100 years ago, when my great-grandmother, Nellie Tucker, first began making her signature toffee in the late 1800s. She crafted her sweet, buttery toffee for gold miners, giving them something special to enjoy after long, demanding days of work.

More than a century later, during my senior year of high school, I decided to honor Nellie’s legacy by bringing her toffee to a wider audience. What began as a small entrepreneurial venture at our local farmers’ market quickly grew — Mother Tucker’s Toffee soon became the fastest-selling product at the market.

While we continue to sell at select farmers’ markets throughout Southern California, we now proudly share our toffee with customers across the country and around the world through our online store.

At Mother Tucker’s Toffee, quality is everything. We use only the finest ingredients, including fair-trade Guittard chocolate, California-grown nuts, rich creamy butter, and absolutely no artificial additives. Every batch is made with care and intention, honoring both our loyal customers and the original recipe passed down from Nellie Tucker herself.

Our toffee is produced in an FDA-certified commercial kitchen in Southern California, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Giving back is also a core part of who we are. Mother Tucker’s Toffee proudly donates 10% of all sales to support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Thank you for being part of our story. We hope you enjoy every bite.
